Piano Music
- Lyric Pieces, 10 Books: (Opus Nos. 12, 38, 43, 47, 54, 57, 62, 65, 68, 71.) Perhaps the best known of these is Opus 54. In this book are such favourites as No.3 Trolltog (March of the Dwarfs), No. 4 Notturno (Nocturne) and No 5 Scherzo and other well loved pieces.
- 19 Norwegian Folk Tunes, Opus 66
- Slåtter (Peasant Dances from Telemark), Opus 72. These were transcribed for the piano from folk tunes played on the Hardanger Fiddle. Opus 72, No 3 was based on the folk tune Wedding March from Telemark.
