SUBSCRIPTIONS. It is interesting to note that for this show (1919) funding was complemented by donations from a President and 26 Vice-Presidents.* and 26 honorary members By 1921 the number of V.P.'s had increased to 65. In 1922 they were down to33 Vice-presidents but by 1927 they had increased to 67: by 1928 the numbers again dropped to 47. The following year the number had dropped to 60 and in 1930 the number of V.P.'s stood at 47 but by then the honorary members stood at 89. *[Editors note: The names in the 1919 programme suggest that most of these V.P.'s are business people and their like who subscribed £1.2s 0d. This entitled them to 6 seats at 3s 6d. There were also honorary members who subscribed 11s 0d and were allowed 3 seats at 3s 6d. Both types of subscriber were entitled to priority booking ]
