HANS ANDERSON was born in 1805 in Odense in Denmark. His first ambiyion was to go into the theatre, but after discovering that he could not act, sing or dance, he decided to become a writer.

Eventually Hans began to write his special stories of magic and adventuere, they were a great success and his fairy stories made him famous throughout the world.
